An IMDb Qualifying
INTL. FILM FESTIVAL & GENRE SCRIPT COMPETITION

OUR STORY
Hollywood Storytellers (formerly known as LA International) is an International Film Festival and Genre Script Competition that aims to celebrate, support, and reward exceptional voices in cinematic storytelling. Our inclusive platform allows diverse filmmakers and writers in multiple genres and mediums to showcase their unique talents and innovative perspectives worldwide.

Our film festival is an IMDb-qualifying annual event. Each year, a diverse slate of extraordinary official selections are invited to screen their projects in person at a historic Hollywood venue located in Los Angeles, California. With a focus on promoting underrepresented voices, we strive to cultivate a compassionate community that encourages creative collaboration in our highly competitive industry, no matter age, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or creed.

Submissions to our Film Festival are available on FilmFreeway Stage 32 and FestHome. Official Selection notifications will be sent in January 2025, with ticket and screening information for the event in March 2025. We welcome you to visit our Film Festival page for more details.

The Hollywood Storytellers Genre Script Competition is an annual event where outstanding Short, Feature, and TV Pilot Scripts are evaluated and placed in our all-inclusive genre contest. One writer will be awarded the overall Feature Screenplay, Short Screenplay, and TV Pilot Script Grand Prize Winner in their respective medium.
Submissions are now open for our second season! We welcome you to visit our Script Competition page for more information and to browse our list of talented 2024 winners.
